Retail Sales Drop Off

Retail sales in Saskatchewan fell 0.1 percent August to September. That matched the national average. Five provinces had larger drops than we did. Looking at the numbers from year-to-year, sales here were off 0.4 per cent. Three other provinces also recorded decreases, each bigger than ours. The national average was an increase of one percent. Retail sales in Saskatchewan in September rang in at about $1.6 billion.
