At approximately 7:56 Saturday morning fire fighters responded to the 1500 block of Avenue H North.
Upon arrival fire crews found a shed and surrounding furniture on fire in the yard. Firefighters were able to put out the flames in less than 10 minutes.
A fire investigator has identified the fire to be accidental and caused by improperly extinguishing an open-air backyard fire. Damage has been estimated at approximately $5,000.
