Today is the 21st annual Day of Caring where volunteers from 9 organizations come together on June 9th to complete 9 community projects.
For instance, Cameco is delivering coffee and donuts to the Friendship Inn, KPMG is doing a virtual fundraiser and collection drive, Nutrien Head Office is providing a surprise lunch delivery to CHEP Good Food. PCL Construction is doing an Outdoor area Makeover for Adelle House.
The United Way says this year’s Day of Caring is a reminder of how important connections to each other and our communities – are – especially during COVID-19 and the necessity of physical distancing.
Day of Caring is presented by Saskatchewan Blue Cross.
