Weyerhaeuser of Vancouver has been fines $182 thousand after pleading guilty to one count under Occupational Health and Safety regulations in Hudson Bay Provincial Court. The charge stems from an incident October 5th of 2017 in Hudson Bay where a worker sustained a serious injury after being impacted by a forklift. The fine includes a $52 thousand surcharge.
