The Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Association opened its 2020 season Saturday at Wyant Group Raceway. The gates were opened to 150 ticket buyers for racing in the Bandolero, Cupcar, Sportsman, Baby Grand and Western Speed Association classes.

The saga of 2020 continues. A great field of cars from Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C. descended on the Wyant Group Raceway Saturday, anxious to put some laps down in the shortened race season. Well, the season was shortened even more as rain cut the night short about half way into the first feature of the night.

We’ll try again next weekend as event number two of the 2020 season hits the track Saturday, August 15. The Schira Subways Bandoleros are back, along with the first race of the season for the Tiger Automotive Pro Trucks, the Golf’s Car Wash Mini Stocks and the Golf’s Car Wash Street Stocks.
