Man Struck by Train in Yorkton

Monday evening shortly after eight o’clock, Yorkton RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a train near Betts Avenue in Yorkton.

Emergency Medical Services attended the scene and transported a 72-year-old man to hospital with what were described as life-threatening injuries. He died the next day.

Yorkton RCMP have concluded their investigation. The Canadian Pacific Railway Police Service continues its investigation.
