SHA Warns of COVID Case in Prince Albert

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is warning residents of Prince Albert of an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 and had recently visited multiple businesses.

The individual visited these Prince Albert businesses during the times below:

  • August 22 – Walmart, Cornerstone, from 10-11 a.m.
  • August 22 – Original Joe’s, Cornerstone, from 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • August 23 – Mr. Mike’s, Cornerstone, from 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • August 26 – Real Canadian Superstore, from 12-12:45 p.m.

Public Health officials are advising individuals who were at these locations on the specified dates during the specified times to immediately self-isolate if they have had or currently have symptoms of COVID-19 and to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing. All other individuals who are not experiencing symptoms should self-monitor for 14 days. The SHA says it is important to note that individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
