Apparently, the Western Hockey League and the Junior A leagues in Western Canada have agreed to allow W-H-L players to start playing with the respective Junior A leagues until the Dub begins January 8.
The Estevan Bruins of the S-J-H-L announced that home-town forward, and former Prince Albert Raider, Cole Fonstad has joined them until such time that Everett begins W-H-L play. The same goes for Silvertips’ defenceman Gianni Fairbrother, who has agreed to play with Nanaimo in the B-C Junior loop.
