Record Breaking Warm Weather in Saskatchewan

With a significant snow event looming for the weekend in Saskatchewan, yesterday was a record breaking day with many communities setting new daytime highs. No weather record was broken in Saskatoon but the mercury did climb to 14.2 degrees Tuesday. Buffalo Narrows broke a 1969 record when the temperature reached 12.9 degrees. Moose Jaw area saw a preliminary new record of 20.9 degrees and Maple Creek reached 23.6 setting new record. That was also the provincial hotspot on Tuesday.
