Unemployment Rate Drops Marginally in Saskatchewan

The unemployment rate in Canada was 8.9 per cent in October. Stats Canada says that was little changed from the month before. Employment increased 0.5% in October, after growing by an average of 2.7% per month since May. Saskatchewan’s rate fell from 6.8 to 6.4 and Saskatoon’s fell from 9.2 to 8.1. Regina’s fell from 7.4 to 6.1 per cent.
