An online resource has been launched to connect the Saskatoon public with local non-profits.
The One Small Step website was created to bring social awareness and education on the services local non-profits provide so the community can easily support their work. A partnership between the One Small Step Alliance and zu came about to organize the website after a group of citizens realized there was a disconnect between the community and the work that non-profits do. The organization suggests when trying to give back to non-profits that help people in Saskatoon, it seemed to be a lot harder than it should have been.
Ryan Lejbak, CEO of zu, says they are happy to play a small part in bringing awareness to the needs of Social Profits in Saskatoon so the community can rally behind the great work they do.
