A nine year old girl named Audrey from Saskatoon, is among five winner of IKEA’s Soft Toy Drawing Competition. Hers was one of 66 thousand entries from around the world. Five unique drawings were selected by a jury at IKEA of Sweden to be turned into real soft toys that will launch in stores and online this Fall.
Audrey says, “My soft toy represents best friends who live in Canada.” she says, “With Sandwich Friends I want others to be kind, careful and to always stay and take care of each other.”
All proceeds from the sale of the toys here are donated to local children’s organizations across Canada that support their right to play and develop. In addition to Canada, winners were selected from Lithuania, Poland, Russia and the U.S.
