The appeal process for a former Saskatoon massage therapist, sentenced for sexual assault, in one of his court cases has been dropped.
In the fall of 2018, 52 year-old Mark Donlevy was found guilty of sexual assault for a incident that occurred in September of 2004. He was sentenced to three years in prison. Donlevy has been attempting to appeal the decision since 2019, but a court clerk told CJWW that that case had been abandoned on March 1st.
After his initial sentencing more women came forward with accusations and in December of 2019 Donlevy plead guilty to 6 more counts of sexual assault and was sentenced to four additional years in prison.
