Whether they’re winning, losing or tied…no matter what time of a game those situations arise…it doesn’t seem as though the Saskatoon Blades’ manner changes.
There doesn’t appear to be complacency when winning, or panic when they’re losing or apprehension when tied…hence the Bridge City Bunch bring a 6-0-1 record to start the W-H-L’s East Division “Dubble” in Regina into Friday’s meeting with the Pats. The Blades also bring a four-game winning streak into the game with a win or extra-time loss giving them the best-ever record through the first eight games of a season in the 57-year history of the Saskatoon franchise. But, it won’t come easy as Regina is coming off a 5-3 victory Thursday over Prince Albert. Game time is 4 p.m. and that’s when the broadcast starts on 98-COOL with no pre-game show.
