Saskatoon Police say a novice driver will be out more than $1500 after getting pulled over Tuesday afternoon. Police say they pulled the motorist over during rush hour at Circle and Faithful for using their phone. It was a second offence fine so the price tag was $1,400. In addition a $360 ticket was issued for having cannabis in the vehicle. And the driver gets their wheels back next week after the vehicle itself was impounded for seven days.
