Regina Police Allege Suspect Not Who He Said He Was

The Regina Police Service says a person named in an earlier news release about a drug investigation was not who he said he was.
Search warrants were executed last weekend and officers report 2,000 grams of meth, 250 grams of fentanyl, 200 grams of cocaine, $41,000 in cash, multiple cell phones, digital scales and other evidence were seized.
Lilsimon Both of Saskatoon and a man who Regina Police officers thought was Deng Garang of Winnipeg were arrested and charged.
Regina Police say after processing fingerprints, it was realized Garang was actually 24 year old Both Reat of Calgary.
It’s alleged he provided the investigator with a false name and identification to match.
Along with the drug charges, Reat is now charged with obstructing a police officer by providing a false name and failing to comply with court orders.
