Hey Baby, Let’s Go to Vegas, N-L-L Expands With 15th Team in Sin City in 2022

       Las Vegas is getting another pro sports franchise…as is billionaire Joe Tsai!

A co-founder of e-commerce giant Alibaba, Tsai has been granted a National Lacrosse League expansion franchise for Las Vegas…to start play in the 2022-23 season. Tsai already owns the N-L-L’s San Diego Seals as well as the N-B-A’s Brooklyn Nets. Sin City already has the Golden Knights of the N-H-L and the N-F-L’s Raiders. Las Vegas is getting another professional sports franchise.

 

Billionaire Joe Tsai has reached an agreement to bring a National Lacrosse League expansion team to Sin City. Co-founder of ecommerce giant Alibaba, Tsai owns the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and another NLL franchise, the San Diego Seals.

 

The club, which doesn’t yet have a name or a home venue, will be the NLL’s 15th franchise when it debuts in the 2022-23 season.
