Between a traffic stop and a search warrant on a Battleford residence, the North Battleford Gang Task Force arrested five people following seizure of drugs, firearms and cash.
Four of the five people arrested were charged and released until a September 7th appearance at the North Battleford Provincial Court House. They are 33-year-old Lawrence Morin of Battleford, along with 29-year-old Sheldon Kohut, 33-year-old Zane Bolig and 24-year-old Kitana Swindler, all of North Battleford. Following a traffic stop of a suspect vehicle, the North Battleford Gang Task Force determined drugs were being sold from a residence in the 300 block of 29th Street in Battleford. While executing a search warrant of the house, police found about half a pound of cocaine and a half pound of psilocybin along with two firearms and approximately $3,500 in cash.
