A speeder drew attention to himself, allowing R-C-M-P officers to seize a large amount of drugs, illegal cigarettes and cash.

On July 16, at around 11:50 a.m., a Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan officer pulled over 40-year-old Jeffrey Weitzel for travelling 164 kilometres per hour on Highway 1 near Wolseley. After the officer spotted some cashand illegal cigarettes in plain view, a full search of the vehicle was conducted, leading to seizure of the illegal cigarettes, 31 grams of cocaine and about $140,000 in Canadian cash (pictured). Weitzel will face seven different charges when he appears in court on October 19.
