A walk will be held this morning (sun) by the family of Megan Gallagher. Gallagher was last seen alive on surveillance video on September 20, 2020 at a convenience store on Diefenbaker Drive. The walk is to bring awareness to the issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit people. Those in attendance are invited to wear red or orange. The walk will start at Joe Gallagher Field before ending at the amphitheatre at River Landing. The walk will mark the start of Missing Person’s Week in Saskatchewan.
At approximately 3:30 a.m. September 21st, 2020, an unidentified female used Megan’s cell phone to call for a cab. Police two individuals were calling for a cab to pick them up from the 700 block of Weldon Avenue and they were dropped at an apartment at 120 Avenue P South. Megan’s phone has not been located by police
