Police Confirm Body Found in North Sask. River is a 39 Year-Old Man from Leask

Prince Albert RCMP say the body that was found in the North Saskatchewan River on September 21st is that of a 39 year-old man from Leask. He is not being identified at the request of his family, who have been notified. Initial reports indicate that the death was not suspicious in nature. The Prince Albert Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service continue to investigate.

On September 21st around 6:15 p.m., Prince Albert RCMP received a report of a deceased person in the North Saskatchewan River near the Cecil Ferry.
