Saskatchewan will start the second phase of their COVID-19 booster shot program as of Monday, October 4.
Eligible residents will include anyone over the age of 80 and those who are immunocompromised, and residents clinically extremely vulnerable with auto-immune diseases.
Six months must pass since receiving a second dose of the vaccine, in order to receive the booster shot.
Those eligible with medical reasons will receive a letter from the Ministry of Health or their physician with instructions on how to receive the booster shot.
