Saskatoon Police say an officer on patrol spotted a man who had a warrant for his arrest, walking near Olmstead Road and Forrester Road.
When the patrol officer tried to stop the man, he took off on foot. A CEW was unsuccessfully deployed but when other officers arrived on scene, he was taken into custody.
This all took place around 1 o’clock Monday afternoon. Police allege the man was in possession of a bag that contained heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and two different identity documents.
A 40 year old man is now facing drug possession charges as well as Possession of Stolen Property, Evade Police and Possession of Identity Documents.
