Yorkton RCMP say a woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a semi and an SUV collided on Highway #9 on the overpass by Darlington Street East in Yorkton.
The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday and the woman was the driver and sole occupant of the SUV. The driver of the semi was not hurt.
Yorkton RCMP, with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist, continues to investigate.
It took about seven hours to reopen the roadway after it was shut down to aid the investigation.
