Saskatoon Police responded to a family disturbance at an apartment in the 3800 block of Luther Place in the city’s College Park neighbourhood around 8:30 Saturday night (sat).
Information given to police was that a female at the apartment was either high on drugs or under the influence of alcohol and had assaulted a child.
The caller was heard to be in a struggle. Once officers arrived, they had to force their way into the unit as the door was locked.
Two women were found still involved in a physical struggle. A CEW was deployed to bring an end to the fight.
A 59 year old woman who was on the receiving end suffered minor injuries. She was the initial caller and was not charged.
A 32 year-old woman was taken into custody and is facing charges.
