As of Monday this week the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival has a new hand at the helm. Shannon Josdal is taking over as Executive Director of the summer event.
The organization says Shannon has ten years of experience as a manager in the entertainment industry and most recently, she was responsible for event management and program development for the seven SIGA casinos throughout Saskatchewan.
Shannon is also President of SaskMusic, a non-profit, member-based association that represents, promotes, and develops the artists and music industry of Saskatchewan.
The 35th SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival is slated for June 30th to July 10th, 2022.
