Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crime Unit continues to investigate the homicides of Alyssa LeCaine and Daphne Bear. The two women were found deceased after a house fire December 24th last year on 108th Street in North Battleford.
Police have determined that 25-year-old Alyssa LeCaine from North Battleford and 20-year-old Daphne Bear from Sweetgrass First Nation died prior to the fire and not as a result of it.

The cause of death is not being released.
