Lawyer Hotline Set Up for Protesting Truckers

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, which describes itself as a national non-profit, non-partisan public interest law firm and registered charity, has established a hotline for truckers taking part in the protests in Canada.

They say the have a team of lawyers on the ground in Ottawa and a news release says anyone who may be facing arrest, the confiscation of property or has criminal law related questions in relation to the Ottawa Freedom Convoy protest can speak to a lawyer at no charge.

The Justice Centre has also prepared a legal tip sheet that provides guidance for dealing with police and potentially facing charges or tickets.
