Saskatoon High School Curling Titles Decided

With the exception of a couple of exhibition games Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Granite Curling Club, the Saskatoon High School Curling League season is done.

St. Joseph won the Girls “A” Division, the Guardians captured both the combined A and B League title as well as the “A” Division City Championship while Bishop Mahoney took both the Open Mixed “A” Division’s City Championship and League trophy. Those teams, along with the Evan Hardy girls, Holy Cross boys and Holy Cross Mixed foursomes will take part in the Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association’s regional playdowns on March 4 and 5 at the Granite and C-N Clubs. Last night the SSSAD High School Curling league wrapped up at the Granit Curling Club!  Congratulations to all of the coaches and teams on an excellent season!  Below are the ‘A’ Division winners

 

Boys ‘A’ Division Curling

League Champ–Granite Curling Club Trophy (combined A&B) – St. Joseph Guardians

“A” Team City Champion – Thode Memorial Trophy – St. Joseph Guardians

 

Girls ‘A’ Division Curling

“A” City Champion – Don Wilson Trophy – St. Joseph Guardians

 

Open Mixed ‘A’ Division Curling

On March 4 and 5, SSSAD will be hosting the SHSAA Regional at the Granite Curling Club and the CN Curling Club.  The following teams will be representing Saskatoon:
