Yellowhead RCMP say the victims of a fiery two vehicle accident on Highway 16 west of Newdale, Manitoba were all from out of province.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 18th when a pick up truck westbound on Highway 16 crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with an eastbound semi-trailer.
The two occupants of the pickup – a 45-year-old male from Tofield, Alberta and a 60-year-old male from Elora, Ontario – were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 53-year-old male driver of the semi-trailer, from Melfort suffered minor physical injuries and was treated on scene.
Blizzard conditions are believed to be a factor in the collision.
