In a tweet, the Saskatoon Police Service says three people are in custody after fleeing from a traffic stop at 33rd Street and Edmonton Avenue Saturday night.
Police say the three people had a gun and were travelling at 140 km/h. The Air Support Unit helped officers on the ground in tracking down the suspects.
Because it happened over the Easter weekend, police said in the tweet “Nobody needs a gun to hunt Easter eggs and you will never see eggs on 33rd St doing 140!”
