The University of Regina is launching a five-city tour called UR Days. The travelling education expo and speaker series will hit the road beginning tomorrow (mon) with stops in Weyburn, Yorkton, Swift Current, Regina and Prince Albert.
The tour is aimed at energizing and inspiring the next generation of U of R students.
Swish Goswami who at the age of 24 has already worked with companies like Netflix, the NFL, NBA and Sony Music will be among the speakers along with Dr. Erica Carleton, an associate professor at the U of R and Dr. Raven Sinclair, a Sixties Scoop survivor and U of R professor.
The University of Regina will visit the following cities:
Weyburn: Monday, May 9 – Cugnet Centre, Weyburn Comprehensive School
Yorkton: Thursday, May 12 – National Bank Convention Place, Gallagher Centre
Swift Current: Tuesday, May 17 – Social Hall, Innovation Credit Union I-plex
Regina: Thursday, May 19 – Education Auditorium, University of Regina Campus
Prince Albert: Thursday, May 26 – EA Rawlinson Centre for the Arts
