It was a scene right out of a movie, although this was no film production.
Around 11 o’clock this morning (thurs), a car was on fire at the Esso gas station located at the corner of Idylwyld Drive and 39th Street in Saskatoon.
The car was located a fair distance from the pumps. Police responded and were directing traffic away from the lot.
A few minutes later, the Saskatoon Fire Department responded and extinguished the blaze.
The scene was all cleaned within an hour with the car removed from the lot.
