A recent drug bust netted the Saskatoon Police Service a significant seizure of over 600 grams of methamphetamine and cocaine.
Last Thursday (Oct 6) just before 9:00 p.m. the Tactical Support Unit assisted in a high-risk traffic stop in the 200 block of Fairmont Drive
Police say there was one person inside, a 27-year-old-man, as well as cocaine, meth, cash and items consistent with drug trafficking.
Officers were then authorized to search a home in the 1900 block of 22nd Street West which is where they seized more drugs and ammunition. A 27-year-old man if facing multiple gun and drug charges in addition to Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000.
Between the traffic stop and the house search, investigators seized:
-461.7 grams methamphetamine
-31.1 grams powdered cocaine
-174.1 grams cocaine/meth mixture
-$7690.00 cash
-Paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking (cell phones, digital scales, and documents)
-40 packages cannabis extracts
-Shotgun ammunition
