With a Knights of Columbus donation of more than a quarter-million-dollars announced today, the Knights of Columbus Council #1517 has met their commitment of donation $1million dollars to the children’s hospital.

Grand Knight Edward Frank thanked all members of the council for making the latest $275,000 donation possible.

The money is part of their continued support for Saskatchewan’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with equipment designed to bring care close to each child’s bedside and a private patient room with a dedicated area for a family member to stay overnight and support their child in hospital.

Knights of Columbus Saskatoon Council #1517 will be recognized at the million-dollar level on the Wall of Honour within the lobby of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.
