The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating an armed robbery and aggravated assault that sent one man to hospital.
Around 8 p.m. police responded to the hospital to take a statement from a 45 year old man who had been assaulted and robbed.
He told police he was walking in the area of Avenue R South and 21st Street West when two persons armed with a knife approached him and demanded his property. A brief struggle ensued and the man was stabbed several times. His injuries were non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects and victim are not believed to be known to one another.
