Regina Police say their officers responded to a business at 12:10 p.m. on Sunday after two people took off with unpaid merchandise and assaulted employees.
Police report that there were two females and the older one had threatened employees with a knife and swung a needle at them while the younger had physically assaulted an employee.
A 40 year old woman and a 17 year old female youth were located in the area and police allege they resisted arrest when police attempted to take them into custody.
Both face charges of Theft under $5,000 and Resist Arrest while the 17 year old is also charged with assault and 40-year-old Jana Sayer-Desjarlais of Regina is charged with Assault with a Weapon.
