On Friday, Regina’s 15th Chief of Police, Farooq Hassan Sheikh, was officially sworn in. Chair of the Board of Police Commissioners, Jada Yee, presented the Chief with his badge. Chief Sheikh comes to Regina from the Alberta Sheriff’s Service. He has 31 years of diverse law enforcement experience across the world, including almost five years of policing in Canada.
