One person killed in two-vehicle crash in Tisdale

A 36-year old man from the Kinistin Saulteaux First Nation has been charged with one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.

Brian McNabb is also charged with four counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm after a fatal collision inside Tisdale around 2 o’clock on Sunday afternoon. An SUV and car collided at the intersection of Highway 3 and Heritage Road.

A 57-year-old man from Prince Albert was driving the car and was declared dead on the scene by paramedics. The SUV driver was treated for non-life threatening injuries, while four passengers in the SUV were transported to hospital with serious injuries.

McNab was slated to appear in Melfort Provincial Court on Monday.
