Multi-semi collision closes Highway 16 near Maidstone for hours

Highway 16 at the junction of Highway 21 near Maidstone was closed for an extended period Tuesday after a multi-semi collision. Maidstone RCMP reported that there were foggy conditions at the time of the accident Tuesday morning. The road remained closed into the evening for clean-up of debris from the semis. There were no serious injuries.
