Drugs, cash and vehicles seized in Saskatoon Police investigation

Around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday the Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team along with the Tactical Support Unit and Patrol, arrested a man and woman at a business in the 1700 block of Preston Avenue North. It was believed they were trafficking cocaine.

A subsequent search warrant was executed in the 1100 block of 12th Street East where police also arrested a 21-year-old man and seized more than 110 grams of cocaine, 6.6 grams of meth, cash, as well as weapons and vehicles.

A 33-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both from Saskatoon are facing drug and weapons related charges. The man was also charged with possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000. In addition to being unlawfully at large and in breach of court-imposed conditions, the 21-year-old man arrested during the search warrant has also been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
