The Canadian Senior Men’s Golf Championship starts today and runs through Sunday near Owen Sound, Ontario. A field of 156 amateur golfers, aged 55-and-over, including eight from Saskatchewan, are taking part in the four-day, 72-hole stroke play event. Today is the first of four rounds. Today is also the first of two-rounds of the inter-provincial team competition. Saskatchewan’s team is comprised of Colin Coben of Delisle, Ken Rodgers of Regina and Brent Wotypka of Swift Current. Non-team members from Saskatchewan in the field include Martin Ring of Prince Albert, Brad Phelps and Warren Proctor of Saskatoon.
