The Saskatoon Police Service says one man is recovering from an assault last night. Police responded to a report of an unknown problem around 9:18 p.m. in the 600 block of Avenue X South. Officers found an injured man in the stairwell. They provided medical assistance until he was taken to hospital. His condition is considered stable.
Police obtained video surveillance showing the man was dragged by four people into a hallway and assaulted. Police were able to identify the four individuals and shortly after arrested three men aged 30, 41 and 48 and one 37-year-old woman who have all been charged with assault. The 48-year-old-man was also found to be breaching court ordered conditions.
