A North Battleford city councillor has been charged with sexual assault. Ross MacAngus held on to his council seat by two votes after a recount in the November election. This is his second term as a North Battleford councillor. Reports say he was charged last month after a report of a sexual assault against a woman in September.
In a statement, the City of North Battleford and City Council says he won’t be removed from council unless and until there is a criminal conviction.
