Recent bad weather hasn’t resulted in immediate spike in vehicle damage claims

Despite the foul weather last week when another Alberta clipper rolled into Saskatchewan Thursday, there were actually fewer claims for damage to vehicles compared to the same time frame a year earlier.

And for Saskatoon it was considerably less. Last Thursday was January 16th when there were 56 claims filed but on the same day a year earlier there were 161.

According to CTV in Winnipeg, Manitoba Public Insurance received more than 500 collision claims from last Friday, when a blizzard hit the province.
