Patrol officers responded to a weapons call at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Grosvenor Park Centre around 7 p.m. Monday. In a news release the Saskatoon Police Service says the woman entered the store and began filling a bag with merchandise but when store employees confronted her, they say she pulled a knife and threatened staff.

The suspect then continued to take items and left the store without paying. She allegedly threatened staff a second time before leaving.

Police are looking for a woman approximately 25-years-old last seen walking east in the parking lot outside the store wearing a black “Champion” sweater with ripped blue jeans. She had on brown work boots and a black cross-body bag, carrying a green, reusable shopping bag.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
