There is an increased police presence in La Loche following a shooting outside of a home.
Friday morning at 5:20 a.m., RCMP responded to find an injured male who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Investigation determined a firearm was discharged during an altercation between a group of people, and the male shooter fled on foot.
La Loche RCMP are now actively investigating, and people are asked to avoid the areas where police officers are present.
