La Loche RCMP have charged 31-year-old Clayton Fontaine of La Loche following a shooting that occured Friday morning.
Officers are working to locate and arrest Fontaine following the shooting, which happened during an altercation between a group of people.
Fontaine is described as a 6 foot 3, 200 pound man with black hair, brown eyes and a number of small tattoos on his face and neck as well as a large rose on his neck.
He is being charged with one count of attempted murder with a firearm, aggravated assault, knowingly possessing a firearm without a licence, unlicenced possession of a firearm, discharge of a firearm with intent, as well as two counts of a firearm while prohibited.
The victim of the shooting is in hospital with serious injuries. Any sightings of Fontaine can be reported to RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
