With the holiday season approaching soon, and the number of parties and gatherings increasing with it, SGI is reminding people to plan a safe way to get home.
JP Cullen, Chief Operating Officer of the Auto Fund says people who plan to drink or use drugs like marijuana should plan out how they’ll get home before they leave to go somewhere.
Some of the things SGI recommends people do include having a designated driver, having a friend or family member give you a ride, using a cab or ridesharing service, using public transit or staying the night if there is no safe ride home.
