Impaired may be an understatement

Dauphin RCMP received numerous calls regarding an impaired driver, and their investigation indicates a woman driving a pickup truck was denied service at a liquor vendor and left the establishment only to allegedly get into a truck and drive erratically away.

Police say a vehicle entered another business parking lot, hit a parked vehicle and in domino fashion, it hit another parked vehicle. But the truck kept on going driving over a stop sign and onto the lawn of another business eventually driving over a communications box which caused an internet outage in Dauphin.

Police allege the suspect resisted arrest, uttered threats to an officer and another prisoner and then as being placed in a cell pulled the fire alarm.
